  • CJ Fridays: Every Friday is CJ Day! Everyone is encouraged to wear Red & White or CJ gear to show their Bulldog pride. CJ Days are also early dismissal days. Kindergarten - 6th Grade are released beginning at 2:10 pm and Junior High and High School students are released at 1:55 pm.

  • New Student Enrollment: Welcome to Carl Junction Schools. The Enrollment Center is located in the Instructional Services Center at 201 South Broadway. APPOINTMENTS ARE RECOMMENDED. Call 417-649-5755 to set up an appointment or for more information. Proof of residency, state-issued birth certificate, immunization records, and a parent's/guardian's ID are required to complete the enrollment.

  • Freeman Health System donates AED

    As part of an ongoing partnership Freeman Health System donated an Automated External Defibrillator to Carl Junction Schools. This unit is located at the Junior High School. There are now three AED units strategically located around the Carl Junction campus.

  • VFW select CJ students for awards

    Each year, the Veterans of Foreign Wars association holds competitions for school children that may result in scholarships or cash awards. Two of these programs recently named Carl Junction students as preliminary winners: at the high school level, The Voice of Democracy award and for grades 6-8, the Patriot's Pen award.   • CJHS begins Engineering program

    Everyone has preconceived ideas or feelings associated with the word engineering. We think of details, factories, production, hard work, and hard-thinking. Very rarely would the first word that comes to mind be fun. But “fun” is exactly how the Carl Junction students who take the newly formed Introduction to Engineering Design classes feel about the subject.
